My name is Julia,
I am originally from Europe but moved to the US , more specifically to sunny Southern California, in the early 1990s. There I met my husband.
In 2008, because of his work, we moved to London. Since I have always enjoyed cooking and everything involved with it, I decided to get more serious about my passion for food and went back to school for a Culinary Arts diploma.
My husband’s career put us on the move again; in December 2011 we relocated to beautiful Switzerland.
I have started this blog to share my ideas and experiments involving not only the different techniques I learned at culinary school, but also the different ingredients I have discovered along the way.
